I worked with homeowner Patricia on designing and building a potting shed based on the picture below. We made it much larger; it has three separate rooms. The right room is the potting area. The larger side has two rooms – a sitting area and a place to park the riding mower. Oh, and there is a loft too. This shed is Patricia's retirement gift to herself.
I installed a regular exterior wood door and cut in half. The siding is Hardie Panel fiber cement. The battens are cedar, and all the trim is Miratec.
The riding mower goes up the ramp and through the double doors. I ran plumbing out to the shed for her utility sink.
Patricia had to have windows that opened out.
